Geetha Subramaniam

Dr. Subramaniam is the Deputy Director of the Center for Clinical Trials Network, at the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). In this role she has been instrumental in developing research projects in a variety of topic areas, including addressing prevention of substance abuse in adolescents, SUD
screening and intervention in primary care settings. She also serves as the scientific officer on several NIH funded cooperative agreements. She is ABPN certified in General, Child and Adolescent and Addiction Psychiatry, a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has distinguished herself as a clinical and research expert in the assessment and treatment of adolescents and young adults with opioid use disorders.
